Description

Use fitness apps and virtual exercise programs to encourage physical activity and create a physical challenge in your community for a week, two weeks or a month!

Goals

Promote regular exercise, enhance physical health, and make fitness fun and engaging.

Procedure
  • Download and set up fitness apps on participating resident's devices. Resident's can also track their fitness on paper
  • Demonstrate how to use the apps and select appropriate exercises.
  • Monitor residents during exercise sessions to ensure safety.
  • Encourage regular use and track progress.
  • Provide modifications for different fitness levels.

    Supplies/Resources

    Tablets or smartphones, fitness apps, exercise equipment (resistance bands, weights, etc.), comfortable clothing.

    Risks

    Risk of injury, overexertion.
