Welbi Achieves Top Score of IO Accelerator Program With 100 eNPS

October 6, 2022

Employee engagement is crucial to a company’s culture and its success as a business. Invest Ottawa’s Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) exercise invites its ScaleUp and Accelerator firms to survey their employee engagement. This year, Welbi is the top scorer of the IO Accelerator program with an eNPS rating of 100. Welbi’s Director of Operations, Gabriel Rubio, explains why this score is so exceptional.

“Usually, from an eNPS perspective, anything above 70 is a high achievement,” he says. “Our score of 100 means that every single one of our teammates, over twenty of them, would rate Welbi 10/10 and recommend that their best friends come work for Welbi.”

Welbi’s unprecedented eNPS score reflects the initiatives the company has taken to develop a strong culture. At Welbi, it’s the people who make the culture — which is why employee wellness is at the forefront of these initiatives.

“Our eNPS score reflects the commitment that we’ve made from a leadership perspective to truly caring about our team members,” says Rubio. “We want to have honest conversations with each one of our teammates to understand where they want to go on both a professional and personal level, so we can help them grow and succeed.”

To foster an environment where teammates can learn and grow, Welbi has brought on experienced industry leaders who can provide one-on-one mentorship. But according to Welbi’s CEO and Co-Founder Elizabeth Audette-Bourdeau, career development is just one part of what makes Welbi such a rewarding place to work.

“Our teammates are joining Welbi not only for their career development but to be part of a team that’s driven to change lives,” she says. “Our personal stories have been major drivers in our mission to impact the lives of older adults like our parents and grandparents all over the world. I think this is the biggest reason why everyone on our team continuously gives one-hundred percent.”

As a rapidly growing company, Welbi has more than doubled its team within the last year. The company’s culture remains a top priority as Welbi expands to reach hundreds more senior living communities across North America.

“Welbi is growing extremely fast, which excites people and attracts more talent. It’s extremely important to me that we maintain the culture that we had when we started out as a team of four people as the company continues to grow,” says Audette-Bourdeau.
